The below candidates are current judges whose terms are coming to an end. As with all judges in the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania, they will all run unopposed in the Nov. 2 general election, when voters will be asked if each judge should be retained for another 10-year term in a “yes” or “no” referendum.
The members of the Allegheny County Bar Association, many of whom practice before these judges, were asked if they recommend the four judges for retention. All four candidates were recommended for retention by the ACBA.

Note that the Hon. Guido A. DeAngelis was also recommended by ACBA membership for retention in the Allegheny County Court Common Pleas. However, Judge DeAngelis has opted not to run for retention and his name has subsequently been removed from campaign materials.
