RETENTION ELECTION
CANDIDATE RATINGS

The below candidates are current judges whose terms are coming to an end. As with all judges in the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania, they will all run unopposed in the Nov. 7 general election, when voters will be asked if each judge should be retained for another 10-year term in a  “yes” or “no” referendum.

The more than 5,000 members of the Allegheny County Bar Association, many of whom practice before these judges, were asked in a spring 2023 referendum, if they feel the judges should be retained. All six judges were overwhelmingly recommended for retention by the members of the ACBA due to their impartiality, temperament and performance on the bench.
